Responsible students can earn double community service hours for early morning set up and clean up shifts at the event.  Contact Jolene Benedetti at 515-6385 or visit her in Portable 7 to sign up - must sign up ahead of time. 
  
We have some exciting prizes to raffle off to NHHS students who have registered for the Harbor Heritage Run by October 6th - including RVCA clothing, Surfside and local restaurant gift certificates.  Winners will be announced during the morning announcements on October 8th and 9th.  Make sure to register to run online at www.harborheritagerun.com or pick up a form from your 3rd period teacher or in one of the school offices.  Race is Saturday, October 11th - get there by 7:30 am...first race goes off at 8:00 am.  Avoid the lines by picking up your race packet in front of school (at the anchor) on Wednesday, 10/8 or Friday 10/10 from 2-6 pm.     
  
Parking will be available in the 16th street lot (no entry or exit for the duration of the runs), the Lutheran Church and the Mormon Church lots and Bob Henry Park.   If at all possible runners and volunteers are encouraged to walk or ride a bike to the event.
 
We're looking for a motorcycle (or vespa or golf cart) and driver with an extra helmet to volunteer to drive a photographer around the course for live action shots of the runners.  Please contact our volunteer Photography Chair Lowell Anderson for more details at lokaent@adelphia.net
